Survey data arriving from multiple sites rarely agrees on categories, spelling or structure, and a cleaned file that cannot be explained is not much use to a reviewer.
The work covered merging submissions, harmonising categories, applying screening rules with excluded records retained rather than deleted, and a QA pass flagging quality issues. The deliverable was an analysis-ready dataset alongside the cleaning log and codebook needed to defend it.
